After graduating high school in 2005, Glenn was accepted to the prestigious Brubeck Institute Fellowship Program, a one or two-year, all expenses paid, performance based undergraduate program that selects one band of highly skilled 18-19 year old jazz musicians. At the Brubeck Institute, Glenn had the opportunity to team up with four of the strongest young jazz musicians in the country and perform nationally and internationally. Performances included Yoshi's Jazz Club in Oakland, Jamboree in Barcelona, Symphony Hall in Chicago, the Monterey Jazz Festival, and the Montreal Bistro in Toronto. He also worked with such artists as Dave Brubeck, Christian McBride, Lewis Nash, Geoff Keezer, Fred Hersch, Joe Gilman, Matt Penman, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Donald Brown, Bobby Watson, and Freddie Hubbard, as well as performed with Dave Brubeck, Christian McBride, Lewis Nash, Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth. At the 2006 North Texas Jazz Festival, the Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet was awarded "Outstanding College Combo" which included a main stage performance opening for the Roy Hargrove Quintet. Also at the 2006 North Texas Jazz Festival, Glenn was awarded "Outstanding Composition" for his composition "Empire of Light". In 2007, The BIJQ was awarded "Outstanding College Combo" from Downbeat Magazine. Also in 2007, Glenn played the second piano part in the debut performance of Dave Brubeck's "Cannery Row Suite" at the Monterey Jazz Festival. Following this performance, he shared the stage with Hank Jones and Oscar Peterson for a three piano performance. Other accomplishments at the Brubeck Institute include a performance of Beethoven's "Pathetique" Sonata at the 2006 University of the Pacific Honors recital, as well as being selected as a finalist for the 2007 APA Cole Porter Fellowship in Jazz.

After completing two years in the Brubeck Institute, Glenn was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to attend The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, where he had the opportunity to study privately with Aaron Goldberg, Aaron Parks and John Kamitsuka. Living in New York, Glenn began to perform such New York venues as Sweet Rhythm, Small's, the Rockwood Music Hall and Fat Cat with a variety of New York's finest musicians including Mark Ferber, Mike Moreno, Maria Neckham, Mark Guiliana, Thomas Morgan, Obed Calvaire, Miles Okazaki, Dave Robaire, Joe Saylor, Ryland Kelly, Peter Schlamb, Ben Van Gelder, as well as many others. Through the New School, he was invited to co-lead a quartet for five days of performances at the 2009 Bern International Jazz Fesvital. The quartet included Yotam Silberstien, Cory Cox and Rick Rosato. Glenn was also selected as the sole student to represent the New School at the 2009 IASJ Conference in Luzern, Switzerland, under the artistic direction of Dave Liebman. In May 2009, Glenn graduated from the New School with academic honors, earning his BFA in Jazz Performance.

Following his 2009 graduation from the New School, Glenn began to perform around the country, including performances in Denver with the Colin Stranahan Quintet, a band of Brubeck Institute alumni who still continue to perform regularly, performances in Phoenix with Lucas Pino and Charles Lewis, and performances in California and Oregon with The Mark Zaleski Band. Also in August 2009, Glenn will be returning to the Brubeck Institute Summer Jazz Colony for the third time as a faculty member, teaching theory classes and master classes. In the fall of 2009, Glenn will begin his graduate studies at NYU, working towards a Masters in Jazz Performance as well as teaching "Jazz Keyboard Harmony" and a studio of private students.
